I was browsing the Summer 2011 lookbook from Montreal based designer Eve Gravel, and I was immediately struck by the soft colours and classic shapes, as well as the lady-like styling (love the lace gloves) of the looks as a whole.
I first encountered her pieces in a shop located here in Ottawa, Victoire, and based on my admiration for some of her garments I saw there, I wanted to check out what was on offer for summer, since I have been spending the cold wintry days day-dreaming about sunny days and summer wardrobe choices. Based on this lookbook (which you can check out in full here), I am hoping to add a few of Ms. Gravel's lovely items to my closet very soon.

Such pretty pieces! I love the pleated skirt.
oh so utterly gorgeous!
Oh gosh, these are so pretty! I love all of it! A store just recently opened here and they sell Eve Gravel, but I've yet to go there... must make it a priority, now! Lovely!
This season I've started noticing this trend - bottons on the back, the whole way down. Looks pretty cute! :)

I love Victoire- I am going there for my Birthday dress! My favourite is the second outfit- just gorgeous! Ok I'm off to peruse her site now :)
Wow, I adore all these pieces! Ahhh makes me want to go shopping!
I think the thing I like about this lookbook the most is the make up, so so stunning!

Soooo gorgeous, what a lovely photo shoot! I'll have to check out her line. Wonder if it's here in Van...
Hey sorry about the delayed response! I'm glad you loved The King's Speech too! It's such a great film! I'm so glad I saw it before the Oscars! Before I saw it, I thought 2010 was a mediocre year for movies, but The King's Speech proved me wrong and Scott Pilgrim too. Hehe.
Oh I love this collection. Love the classic silhouettes and the styling is perfection. Of course, I'm adoring the gloves. The model has such a classic and beautiful face!
