I stumbled upon this editorial from Elle France via Runway Revolution, that features curvaceous, or "voluptueuse" models, this time, the lovely Robyn Lawley photographed by Lee Broomfield.
Being on the "ronde" side myself, I have to admit that I am always excited to see a feature with styles and shapes of garments that might actually look good on me. Robyn Lawley certainly more than does justice to all these garments - I think she looks stunning!
I am definitely feeling inspired by the colours and shapes of the pieces in these shots, and it is nice to see a European magazine promoting curvier ladies and not talking about how they should wear stocky shoes to "match their sturdy legs".(Some good comments about that Sartorialist post on The Cut) however stylish they might be. Dear Mr. Schuman - note that a curvy lady can pull off a stiletto heel as well as any size 0-2 gal. Just take a look at Ms. Lawley in her red heels, above.

Ah! Woooow! This girl is fantasic! So refreshing to see a girl with some shapes after all the skinny models! And the clothes is just yummy. Those colors are a dream come true!

Such a pretty model and I love that she is curvy too!
This girl is hawt! I agree that it's refreshing to see ladies with curves-it creates a more realistic picture for young girls who idealize models. Yes, let's do an Ottawa meet up soon- I'm thinking sometime in May? I'll send out an e-mail!
Umm this is so amazing, thank you for sharing!!! I love how she has curves but that's not the main focus of the shoot. I feel like so many times when they use a curvy model that's what the whole shoot is about. This girl is gorgeous, consider me very inspired xo
