I'm leaving Ottawa today to head home to my beloved Prince Edward Island where my heart is happiest, and where family and friends will be waiting. I can't wait to settle in, sit by the fire, and share the joy of the Christmas season with my parents, my sisters and most especially my sweet niece and nephew who will be smothered in hugs the whole time I'm home, to be sure.

For those of you who are also travelling over the roads or through the air - I wish you all a safe journey! And to everyone else? I hope you have a wonderfully happy holiday weekend.
