As a celebration of the 60th anniversary of the National Ballet of Canada, a number of top Canadian designers were commissioned to bring their aesthetic to the quintessential ballet garment - the tutu. Some of my favourites out of the results of this project came, unsurprisingly, from my favourite Canadian labels - including Sarah Stevenson, Vawk, and Label.

Learn more about the project (and see the rest of the tutus!) here. If, unlike me, you live in Toronto (or at least are visiting), you'll be able to see these beauties in person at The Design Exchange from June 11-September 2nd.

P.S. I am pleased to announce that Faith of Zealous Blonde is the winner of the Shopbop Giveaway! If you didn't win, don't worry - I have another fabulous giveaway coming up this week! So keep your eyes peeled!

ahhh I like the second one a lot!! I don't think I've ever worn a tutu though even when I was in ballet for like a month when I was 4!

So gorgeous! I'll definitely have to plan another trip to Toronto to check out the exhibit!
