Tank: Joe Fresh Skirt: Joe Fresh Shoes: Joe Fresh Necklace: Spike the Punch
If there is one thing I have learned from shooting outfit posts along the waterfront, it's that doing my hair is a complete and utter waste of time. It was perfectly curled and lovely when I left my house, but after a few minutes of being blown around by the wind off the water, it was as wild a mess as always, so I decided just to embrace it. This little dock is right along the boardwalk, and I guess I picked a genius spot for photo taking because almost every tourist who walked by seemed inspired to also capture some portraits of their own. It was a gorgeous August evening, warm and lovely and just right, which was lucky because I definitely got splashed a little bit! Commitment to an outfit photo in spite of sea spray? That's right.
You'll see a few takes on black and white over at Stylelist Canada this week, and for my take on the trend, I kept it pretty simple with a comfy cotton tank, a slinky printed skirt and my constant go-to, black flats. The great thing about wearing black and white is that you can pretty much throw on any colourful accessory and it will work, so I grabbed a colourful necklace to finish off the look this time round!

I love how your skirt matches the water perfectly! Your hair still looks good, even if it isn't as curly as when you first started.
