Any of my friends could tell you that I am an absolute nail polish junkie, and have a whole bag full of every imaginable colour from Essie, OPI, Joe Fresh, China Glaze and more. Since many of the brands and colours I love aren't readily available on my lovely island home, I often rely on serious favourite Nail Polish Canada to order in my must sought-after colours. So when they approached me to review a Konad Stamping plate I couldn't refuse.
Each plate has four patterns (and there are tons of plates to choose from - and this one with zebra print and stars caught my eye. I tried out all four of the images on my plate, and although three worked perfectly, the spiral-swirl print just wouldn't work for me. I didn't use actual Konad polish though, so I'm not sure if that is what made the difference or not. In any case, my first few attempts with the stamp and scraper were pretty fumbling (as you can sort of see) but once I got the hang of it it's pretty easy to do, and for me, that's saying something.
The verdict: I'm a fan! It's relatively easy to do (after a few practice nails) and I had great-looking results - for a rookie at least! I am officially excited to get a few more plates for more fancy nail-art options.
P.S. Nail Polish Canada is also currently in the running to be named Best E-tailer in Canada by Canada Post. You can show them some love - and win some fantastic prizes! - by voting here between now and the 20th of September!
