Dress: Smart Set Boots and Bracelet: Joe Fresh (old)
On this absolutely gorgeous early fall day, I took advantage of the beautifully crisp evening to head out to a nearby field to snap some outfit photos - much to the confusion of several St. Eleanor's residents who were out for an evening stroll and did not expect to stumble upon a blogger snapping photos!
As soon as I saw this deep plum, more burgundy dress (although the light in these photos would lead you to believe otherwise) from Smart Set, I knew it had to be mine. I love the pleats in the flouncy skirt, and the zipper down the front that gives it a bit of an edgier look than what I usually gravitate towards. The best part? It's got a really heavy knit and feeling that is perfect for fall. I am already looking forward to layering it with tights and sweaters when the nip in the air gets a little stronger.

I love these pictures, particularly numbers 2, 3, and 5. And we are going to have to do my chicken shoot ASAP! Or wait until spring. Because those ladies are definitely starting to moult!
